Super Famicast theme concepts

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Hey guys, I wrote a simple arrangement of the main zelda theme (the one from the original game/Smash Bros.) for use with mikey's Super Famicast Zelda theme. I'll upload it somewhere as soon as I can.

Ok, here we go. I put some random stuff on the angelfire site this time, so hopefully they won't close it down.

Handel Gothic is for the white logo. I dunno what font that red one is made with because I didn't make it. I believe insanedavid made that. I think.

Dammit, how did that page violate Angelfire's terms of service?

Ok, in that case, if scherzo, mikey, or anyone else wants Zelda music for the Zelda theme, just PM me with your email address.

I didn't make the red logo, don't know what font was used for it either. However just for information purposes I made the Super Famicom looking Super Famicast logo a pixel at a time (800x zoom if I remember) from looking at the text on an SFC controller, then ported it through Micrografx Designer 7 for the button color logo and joined them in Micrografx Picture Publisher 7. I tossed a few fonts around and lopped off a part here or there before deciding to take little fragments for this or that, don't remember what those fonts were though. ^_^;; ...if I knew there was a font that close to the Super Famicom text I would have just modified it >_< ..would have saved me some time.
...controller hasn't killed me yet.

Absolutely wonderful, Mikey. I'm going to try to make a matching XML file for this today.

Great, I hope I left enough room on the papyrus for the options, roms etc.

Yeah, I think so. There's one thing though. Please remove the menu items on the main menu since those are drawn dynamically. Thanks and great friggin work!
