n64 game is poo

Hey, I got WWF Mercey from ebay and it is working and all but sometimes it freezes in the menu. I know it is not the system because other games working flawlessly. I couldnt open it with my screw driver (yes screw driver, I got nes, snes, and gb games to open with it easily). Any other ideas. I rather not pay for a cleaning kit aswell.

Rubbing alcohol to the contacts on the cartridge should clean it.

I just tried that now, freezes less but still does it.

Clean the contacts in the cartridge slot as well

Ive got the same problem with Mario 64, except it freezes and the system resets itself, other games work fine though.

My n64 won't turn on. The LEd and controller light up. Yes, the controller lights up, its a mod. I don't know whats wrong.

When the game freeze's, I cant even reset either.
