Here are some new splash screen theories (or maybe even jewel case). Wouldent it be cool if these screens could pop up with the coin sound from super mario? (like it does when you play super mario world)

Which one do you think is better?

Also here is the save screen with one of the VMUs in colour, i cant figure out if it looks better with or without colour.

Mikey, can you host those pics somewhere besides MSN? On MSN, you have to be a menber, logged in, and in some cases have accepted a special agreement to view images. That makes it a very bad place for storing images for offsite viewing.

Well Sheng, I told you I was going to enter

I made the following in under twenty minutes. I had to do a lot of pixel level editing and was all done in good old Paint

So here is my first attempt:

Yeah thats what i thought, I started off with the black then changed it to white cuz i thought it matched better.

and yes mikey it would look sweet if it were white just inver the colors of the boxes so it comes out gray then mess with the contrast

Nah, the first one, that's no inverted, looks a lot better. Try inverting just the boxes, try try making the boxes lighter, so it'll be more white, but not inverted, know what I mean?
