Fudge modchips
My XBox modchip didn't work, so I had my buddy solder the points on the motherboard to flash the TSOP. What's the easiest, most straight-forward to do the actual flashing?

I've done the font exploit on a mate's Xbox and it worked absolutely brilliantly with Phoenix BIOS Loader 1.6. Apaarently there's still the chance of being stuck in the clock loop, though, but not with the audio exploit, which can now be configured to boot EvoX on boot-up.

Phoenix 1.6?
I'm pretty sure its only up to 1.3.5i, which is for the 1.3 and up boxes.
I bought a modchip, but I bought the wrong kind of solder, and I dunno if my iron would work. So I just sent it to some guy to put the mechassaultwithevox save on it.
I still don't see how PBL has a major advantage. Sure, you don't have to sign things, but if eject still resets, it really doesn't matter, IMO.

Well, i used PBL1.3i on my friends xbox, i can't remember what bios i used but im pretty sure it was the latest (at the time) xecuter 2 bios, and it worked great, (i used the font exploit btw), and when he starts up his xbox and hits open on his driver door it doesn't reset, cos you can't start a back up dvd/cd-rom, until the pbl loads, and then and only then you can put in the backed up dvd/cd, otherwise it just gives an error.
BTW, does anyone know if PBL1.3.5i works with version 1.0 xbox's too??.

Ahh, I just read that it works with the audio exploit too, but not the gamesave (which is what I was using)zero wrote:Well, i used PBL1.3i on my friends xbox, i can't remember what bios i used but im pretty sure it was the latest (at the time) xecuter 2 bios, and it worked great, (i used the font exploit btw), and when he starts up his xbox and hits open on his driver door it doesn't reset, cos you can't start a back up dvd/cd-rom, until the pbl loads, and then and only then you can put in the backed up dvd/cd, otherwise it just gives an error.

One of:
Action Replay
OR
Xbox Controller - USB cable (i.e. lets it plug into your PC) and a memory card.
Plus one of:
007 Agent Under Fire
Mechwarrior
For the gamesave exploits. I haven't used the Audio exploit, so I don't know what you need for that. http://www.xbox-scene.com should have all the necessary information.
