no CD-RW doesn'T work for some reasons out of my knowings !
as for what i was telling 2 or 3 pages ago... just forget about it, you are too morons to understand how a graphic cards really work !
so just forget about it !
and yes, ROM means READ ONLY MEMORY, but do you really think that what you are interpretting doesn't have data ?
ROM means only that you can't change it. or so was it suppose to when it was in the cartridge, but as far as i know, there are data in that ROM which is a program in itself. that's how things works, so yeah a ROM is a PROGRAM reguardless of how you see it !
good to see you got a few things working scerzo, seems you be ont he right track !
as for the save games, well i don't care if i have to start everything back form zero, i'm accustomed too. i'll be just happy to see another emulator running my games.
and what the other guy was saying, is that compatibility is falling into the SPEED category for him, as in SPEED is as much important then COMPATIBILITY, or so i think he said !
in any case, GOOD LUCK on this project of yours, such a hard task !

Oh, hehe... I'm at work and didn't have a good mental picture of it. Kinda backwards on Sega's part, don'tcha think? Also, I bet this has been brought up before but... why did they have to have the cord come out the side farthest away from the console?
I have a converter to use Playstation pads on my DC. I use that most of the time.

Since it was recently added to the quick reply section, i feel it appropriate to use this.

i'm not sure i understood what you meant correctly but if you mean why the controler's cord has to go out from the bottom of the pad instead of its top i suppose it was the simplest way to allow puru puru and vm to be inserted/removed.why did they have to have the cord come out the side farthest away from the console?
anyway it doesn't change a lot since you can block the cord on the controller's back so it goes in the good sense
