what is for you the best games on dreamcast any gamer should not miss

Anyway, in my opinion:

- Daytona USA (needs no introduction)
- Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 (innovative, graphics almost on par with GT3, better than PS2 version)
- Crazy Taxi (the 'coolest' PANIC game around, music by Offspringg and Bad Religion)
- MSR (the predesessor to Xbox's Gotham Racing)
- Le Mans 24 (surprisingly good graphics and handling, better than the PS2 version)

- IKARUGA (probably the best vertical shooter of all time)
- Border Down (same goes for this one, but horizontal)
- REZ (hardly fits into the category, a ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!!!)
- Airforce Delta (not as good as Ace Combat 4, but a very enjoyable arcade game, 60fps)
- GigaWing 2 (another great vertical shooter, slowdown occurs)

- RE Code: Veronica (the best graphics in the series)
- RE 2 (dated graphics, but probably the best one)
- Alone in the Dark 4 (something between RE and Silent Hill)
- Dino Crisis (PS1 port, graphix suck, but a cool game)
- Blue Stinger (everybody else hates it, but i think it's ridiculously cool)

- Jet Set Radio (the real next-gen game!)
- Sonic Adventure (i like it even more than the 2D sonics)
- Sonic Adventure 2 (a little more repetitive, but a lot better graphics)
- Rayman 2 (cute, good humor, decent graphics, excellent gameplay -> a lot better than Rayman 3 for PS2)
- Soul Reaver (a little dated graphics, but a rock solid 60fps, great story and gameplay)

- Sword of Berserk (DC's "Devil may cry", well, not exactly, but an enjoyable experience)

- Bleemcast+Metal Gear Solid (what can i say, a 640X480 MGS, a perfect emulation)

- Yu Suzuki Gameworks (arcade-perfect ports of: Hang on, Outrun, Power Drift, After Burner and Space Harrier)
- Xtreme sports (although a little buggy, i still wander how can this game look so good and remain largely unknown)
- 18 Wheeler (a very good naomi arcade port)
- Cannon Spike (another of capcom's insanities, warning: the game is very short)
- Super Runabout (handling feels too realistic for this game, but it's an unforgettable experience)

- Hidden and Dangerous (that is probably the ugliest game i've seen since Steel Harbinger on PS1)
- Toy Story 2 (buggy as hell)
- Star Wars Jedi Power Battle (a shame to SW)
- Evil Dead (good graphics, but uncontrollable!!!!!)
- Sydney 2000 (vomit)

Everything he said basically...

Although Spiderman is a brilliant game so if you can pick it up cheap it's worth it.

I bought it for my PS1, so if you've got one track it down pre-owned.

Feet of Fury (DC DDR, very good)

FoF is nothing like DDR... don't even compare the two. THey just both happen to use the dance pad. FoF Focus is on the battle stuff while DDR is on PAing (Perfect Attack) and Combo and Free Styling.

Also, Seaman is a nifty game to get.
To the fighting I whould add Marvel Vs Capcom 1 and 2

You're right about FOF and DDR, but for a person not familiar with the genre its easier to imagine what the game is like.
I never had the chance to play Seaman (shame on me)

No gamer should miss Dead or Alive 2. Especially in 4-player tag battle mode with a huge TV. No other fighting game I've ever played has made me and my friends actually cringe when our character gets hit. (Leon's bone-breaker's are especially effective at crushing rival player morale.)

If you can, get the Japanese Limited Edition version of Dead or Alive 2. It has 2 extra characters and many extra costumes.

Heck yeah Lord Bell, also for a good laugh get JoJo's Bizare adventures if you see it cheap, one of the fighters is a little doggie you can do a kick juggle for an 8 or 9 combo for, it is great. Also Maken X is awsome!

Spiderman on DC is kinda a rare game now. You can get the Ps1 version dirt cheap though, but it is more then likely inferior in everyway.

It's a straight port, and without a doubt the PS has a better control system for web slinging.

But anyway, thanks for making me smile. If SEGA had the same kind of belief in DC then I'd be playing Spiderman the Movie on it right now...

For a PS1 title Spiderman looks really amazing, but for the DC graphic standart Spiderman has one of the crapiest graphics of all! The game might have some value to it (i have it, but i never play it), but for a person just starting with the DC (like TID who started this thread), there are FAR better games to play before Spiderman can have it's chance.
