Im guessing your dreamcast is one of the new ones which DOSENT SUPPORT CD-R'S. Check the compatibility list.

I belive it is DJ that is the worse of the two. As far as i have seen DJ it is a headache and a lot of people agree. Nero is the best burning app out there.

Yeah, but the problem with a Nero image is (especially with a cdi2nero one) is that it won't burn on some burners and DJ is the better option for them...
DJ can seem fiddly at times but it is more advanced than nero (especially in data)... Nero is simple to use and does a lot of advanced features... For DC, I always use DJ but Nero is my tool of choice

DJ
Hey, one thing you might want to check... put the CDR, after you burn it, BACK in your CDROM drive, and be sure your computer can read it. That'll tell you if Nero is getting the burn done correctly. If it is, then try on the DC.
I found this out firsthand. In my office I've got an iOmega Predator USB CDRW, and Nero just burns frisbees w/ it for some reason. *Sniffle* Gotta use DJ for now.

Ok... Now that I have a Utopia Boot disk...
I now have my Utopia boot disk working, but when I put the DCQuake CD in it does not boot, anything I need to do special? I burned it as directed on the main page. I even named it CANDYISO as the Readme told to do. The only thing different is I put my PC Quake's PAk0 and PAK1 files in the ID1 folder overwriting the shareware version. This is was ok as per the readme. Anyhelp would be appreciaated.
Thanks,
Jim
