Check out my new car!

Post by Vlad Tepes »

I just bought a 2000 Camaro Z28, and I wanna do some engine mods, but since I really don't know much about the internal workings of cars, I'm not sure where to start. I was thinking about maybe a new intake or exhaust...or both. I've heard those are the easiest ways to increase HP without spending a fortune. It's not like I need much more...I mean...305hp @ 5600rpm should be enough for anybody...but...anyway, any help or advice would be appreciated :D Oh...yeah...and I don't want to put anything on my car that's gonna make it really loud. It sounds good as it is...just a nice rumble.

Oh...and here are a few pics of my new car...

Superchip, K&N filter, if you have much experience - a new intake manifold.

If you have a way to get the car off the ground, you could do exhaust manifolds pretty easy. (You could do it on the ground, but it would be a huge pain)

How many miles are on it? Are there already some mods? Is it an automatic?

Thats a sweet car dude. I'm still trying to decide between a mustang, firebird, camaro, or mark VIII.

Super chips are really good, saw it on a v8 mustang (show called horsepower) and it added 5 hp.

To get car off the ground you can use jacks.

I wouldnt supercharge it if it has more then 100,000 miles on it (seen cars in the 2001 range with 90,000) Also if auto then I wouldnt do shit to it.

MUSTANGS SUCK!! I once wanted one until I saw the show horsepower. He had dynoed the v8 GT and it was 180 hp... V6 camaro or firebird would win it. You can get the firebird and make it into a firearo? Dont know what they call it but my cousin did it and you just put some camaro shit on the firebird since they are really close (looks and engine wise).

Nice... I'd post a pic of my car, but you can find an exact model at the nearest junk yard near you!

Nearest junk yard near you? Sounds pretty close. Welcome to my computer room/area.

My car is probably in here somewhere, now that I think about it. You, sitting there, help me find it and I'll give you a cookie.

Yes, fine machines as such aren't meant to be riced.

If one spoiler touches that trunk I will hunt you down and beat you to death with it.
