I've basically decided that I'm not too bothered about getting the new Zelda disk. There is no way I'm spending 4500 stars on it and I have multiple ways to play them if I really want to.

Mario and Luigi is such a great game and it just oozes Nintendo quality from every pore. MK:DD on the other hand is not IMO. It's been 3 days and I have become totally bored with single player. I admit my expectations were quite high but this is the first Nintendo GC game that has really screamed "effortless rehash" to me

My opinions of it might improve on Thursday night because I'll be having a hefty multiplayer session with some mates.

I know

, I'm sure the game will be a solid 7-8/10 once me and my friends have given it a good thrashing. I was just disappointed to have completed the single player game in a couple of days with a real feeling of "hmm I've seen it all before" all the way through. The game is polished but it(well the single player at least) seems to lack ambition in so many areas.

i do wish there were more tracks and more hidden secrets... but hey its better then the gba one that refuses to let you play multiplayer on gcgba

To tell you the damn truth, I never owned a N64 until recently, and haven't played Majoras Mask at all, and OoTfor only about 2 hours.

have all 3 Zelda discs (WW, ZC, OOT/MQ) for it and no other games yet, lol.

I just bought a new Gamecube too. Its kinda hard not to buy it when its just 99 bucks. Got the Zelda disc of course. And i just had to get Metroid prime. I'll hold off on getting Mario kart and F-zero for a while. Metroid is my top priority.

Read the post you quoted. Lartrak posted that most of the best games that are on N64 are now on GC. Theres no mention of xbox.

i just grabbed the zelda disc off of ebay for 50 US.... seemed like a good deal to me, as buying all those games for the old systems would cost a whole lot more...

plus, i friggin love zelda...
