Is it possible to hook up a normal PC keyboard to ps2 by USB

I was just wondering if i could "mod" a USB cable to my PC keyboard, well, my EXTRA PC keyboard, and hook it up to my PS2 for Gameshark use? I have an extra USB cord I would be willing to hack up. If I'm correct, a pc keyboard has 4 pins, and so does a USB cable. I'm just un sure of which pins are which. Only one pin on USB has 5v, the other don't read anything. Thats just the power coming from ps2 though whent he USB is connected. I figured if Interact used the USB port for their gameshark keyboard, i could make a USB keyboard with a normal keyboard and USB cable. Any help is appreciated. Even if it bad news on my part.

Sorry, doesn't work that way. You'd need to translate the signals (not easy, btw).

i have a usb broadband modem...will that work with the ps2??

Ok you can hook up any USB keyboard to ps2. They work in Navigator BB, some games and sometimes gameshark. Also ps2 linux requires a USB keyboard.

But i can't use a serial keyboard connection, and turn it into USB huh? Ok. no worries.
