No seriously when I use Sound Forge or Cool Edit Pro my mp3's come out great and very close to the original....BUT (and a big but) most mp3's (and this is where I agree) encoded at that rate sound wishy washy and tinny. It so much depends on the encoding method (untill you get up to the 192 region, then it's almost dummy proof). Sorry about IUMA.com, but mp3.com these days is full of bs registration and banners for the end user just trying to hear music. I'm a musician but I'm not a web designer unfortunately. If my stuff took off at all I'd consider making a website.

MP3.com AND IUMA suck ass.
MP3.com only allows you 1 song on your page and annoys you with registration procedures when you wish to download an MP3! Why such crap? To send you SPAM! (bah!)
And IUMA is slooooooooooooooow!
It always disconnects me after reaching 50% download,so I still can't hear your song
192kbps 44kHz Stereo MP3 encoded with Sound Forge 6.0 at maximum(slowest) encoding) sounds very good.
Also,Fruity Loops Studio 4.1 does it well with the SLOW AS HELL slowest 256point SincDepth method.

playstation music
Interesting. I like the classic vintage feel. I'd like to remix some of those for fun.

What do you guys use to produce all your musical pieces with? Me, I personally have sat down and used Cubase SX with a cack-load of Software Synths as I just don't have the money or time to get the hardware based setup. The stuff that I've been hearing from others using just a software based setup is just about as good (if not better) than some with the hardware. - I produce mainly very hard dance music so nothing really suited to any particular video games although I could be proven wrong - If any one wishes to hear any of my stuff I shall put links up fairly soon... although most of it is stuff that I've produced with Fruity 3.56

Hehehe...I used the good ol' Fruit before
Wanna hear what can I do with it?
Fruity is the best thing for making Trance,Dance and other similar music genres (music you can dance on)
But for Symphonic tracks, piano compositions and other non-dance stuff, avoid it like the plague
I use my DC and a YAMAHA synth for that
Oh,just wait and I'll upload a new track,so you can fel the sound of the legendary KAWAI grand piano, and the legendary Yamaha DX-9 FM synth
