I was won dering if NESTER DC , supported disk swapping.
I downloaded the selfboot DJ image and now I was wondering if it was ok to burn my roms on another disk, and do I have to put the roms in a folder called roms, before I burn the separate disk.
Im sorry if I seem dumb but I new at this and any help would be greatly

Yes it supports disc swaping. Roms go in the "games" folder.

not to criticize, uninspire, but he did say he was new at this so selfbooting might be a pain.
but on to answer the question and add sum extra help.
Yes Nester does support disc swapping
All the roms for NesterDC go in a folder called games
If you are using other emulators such as DreamSnes i would be a wonderful idea to put all the roms for all your emulators on one disc(DreamSnes go in a folder called roms) there is a list of folders that roms
go into in the tutorials and also read the tutorial for burning a rom disc for its respected emulator.

Disk swapping and self booting...

Post by zektor »

I dunno. I know how to make NesterDC self boot with roms, but I just don't do it. I have one disc with all my roms in a "games" folder, and I just burn the latest DJ image of NesterDC whenever it is available. I don't have to go through any of the self boot steps, and I can burn the disc in a matter of seconds....and get playing right away. Maybe I'm just lazy, but the disc swapping doesn't bother me one bit.
