Start your MS-DOS session. Go to the directory with all the .nes files. Now type this line command.
dir /a:-d /o-n /b > roms.lst
This will take the file name of every file in the directory so make sure that you only have .nes files in this directory. Please let me know if you get this to work for you. Thanks hope this helps!
