easy easy question

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Post by JustinVisible »

you can download both scrambled and unscrambled versions of files, which version do you need to burn to just make a working disk which needs to be booted with the boot disk.

I know its such an easy question and a year ago i would have known the answer and if someone would have asked it i would have told them but now I just completly dont remember so please help

thanks

Scrambled is self-booting, and unscrambled is non-booting, requiring a boot disc.

DCHakker and DemoMenu will let you load either scrambled or unscrambled bins if you're ever not sure which it is. Use the Y button to toggle between scrambled/unscrambled before loading a binary.
