"Hell up in Harlem"
Produced with a home video camera
Used no tripod
Featured gang wars from Harlem to the Carribean, featuring black gangsters, italian mob, and even the yakuza for a bit.
I can't comment on the story, as I am not sure it had one.
All shots were shot at the real locations. (When theres a shot of the street, half the people are staring at the video camera wondering whats going on)
I recall in one scene, they zoomed in on the main character who was about to snipe an italian mobster. It was obvious that they didn't do it right the first time. It was a scene of someone zooming in on a shot of the guy climbing up a ladder. (That sounds confusing: they zoomed in on a TV that was playing a shot of the guy going up the ladder, because they had screwed up the shot when shooting)
RENT IT!!! NOW!!!

Cool... B movies are my fetish... here are some of my favorite...
Bloodsucking Freaks (will leave you scarred for life)
Two Idiots in Hollywood (so classic, I wish I could find it to buy it)
Sleepaway Camp 1, 2, and 3 check it out
Night of the Comet
Bad Taste (You have to see this movie!)
Toxic Avenger (or anything put out by Troma Films)
Terror Vision
Parents
I Spit on Your Grave
Orgasmo
Wow, I just went through a bunch of memories that I forgot I had. I gotta track some of these movies down.

you better be kidding in 10 seconds!Enki-14 wrote:Jason X. It sucks. Watch it and you'll agree, with both points. It's on stars channels this month if ya got em.
I I luv the part when we all thought the lady had Jason frozen.
Then he got his last body count, when he stabbed the lady through the door. Haha, LOL!
I like the videogames they were playing...looks like a mini Game Gear!

Orgasmo rocks. The only reason it wasn't bigger was because the MPAA slapped it with an NC-17 and no theaters would carry it.Narcissus wrote:Cool... B movies are my fetish... here are some of my favorite...

Bloodsucking Freaks. IIRC, that's Troma, right?
And Bad Taste, is that by the same guy that did Pink Flamingos?

Not sure about that but his current work is the Lord of the Rings films. Good low budget films from Troma are:toastman wrote:Bad Taste, is that by the same guy that did Pink Flamingos?Narcissus wrote: Bad Taste (You have to see this movie!)
Surf Nazis must Die (a classic for the scene where an old black lady buys a gun saying she wants something that 'will stop a honky at 50 paces')
Redneck Zombies (think thats right, its the one with a radioactive waste barrel used to make moonshine in)
theres no-one else to blameThe Prisoner - Makes NGE's ending look almost intelligible.
