Secret Admirer - I just want to bash C Thomas Howell's face in.
The oursiders - Decent flick, but don't you just want to beat the bajesus of of C. Thomas Howell?

I knew this thread would make me smile ear to ear. All those flicks you guys are putting up are really good. I loved the outsiders by the way because Diane lane looked smoking hot holy crap wow wow wow, and if you were looking closely at my sig you would know that I love B&T excellent adventure.

Good thinking erby2k with the dirt bike kid, but that is not it. I fear I will never remember or be reminded what flick I am actually looking for.

Here are some more great ones though:
Howard the duck
TMNT
Stand by me
House
airplane
little shop of horrors
the predator
running man
masters of the universe
caddyshack
scarface
spaceballs
history of the world pt1

more to come..........
you guys keep em coming too..

Anything with John Cusack (which includes Stand By Me, One Crazy Summer, Better Off Dead, Say Anything, and a host of others that have not yet been mentioned). How about these?

Cry Baby
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
Toxic Avenger
NeverEnding Story (that movie rocks!!!)
Lost Boys

I'll come up with more later. Most of the list looks pretty good. I hate the brat pack, though. Die Breakfast Club, Die!!!

Hey. I've got a question, too. Even though we haven't done very well at answering the question about the motocross movie, I have another movie I can't remember much about: When I was a kid, there was some movie that used to be on all the time, but the only things I remember about are a) it was about some kid who started rebelling against his parents (I'm pretty sure they lived in suburbia), b) that kid had an older friend who was a dropout (and I think he rode a motorcycle and liked to play with guns) c) the kid, his older friend, and some girl squatted for a while in a house that was under construction d) near the end of the movie, the kid and his friends trapped all the parents inside the school during a PTA meeting, and then blew up the school and e) at the very end, the kid is on the bus to reform school. Anybody remember what the movie was called? That is all I can remember.

That also reminds me of one of the ultimate supercool 80's flicks:

The motocross movie of which you speak wouldn't happen to be "BMX Bandits" would it? Here is a link to the IMDB for more info: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0085204

A few more great 80's flicks:

The Wraith
Young Guns
Young Guns II (okay, Young Guns II was 1990, but close enough)
Eight Men Out (another great Cusack flick)
Maximum Overdrive
Foot Loose
She's Having A Baby
Evil Dead
Evil Dead 2
Friday the 13th Parts I-VIII
Nightmare on Elm Street Parts 1-5 (much better than the Friday the 13th series)
Day of the Dead
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Big Top Pee-Wee
Flight of the Navigator
Back to the Beach

More to come when I think of them. I watched a whole lot of movies in the 80's, and I am still searching for great movies from the 80's.

Demons (Demoni) 1 and 2

Hilarious horror movies by Italian zombiefest master Lamberto Bava. If you ever watch these movies, take notice in the best actor ever: Bobby Rhodes. He plays Tony the pimp in the the first one and a private physical instructor in the second. He's like, the most badass thing ever!
