??? How could you PLAY it to the end, when you know that the FX chip emulation is broken,so everything runs at insanely low speed and has bugs because of that ?
I can't even stand to finish the first level with that speed.
When the DSNES team fixes the FX emulation, then I will hunt the bugs.

I forgot to mention that I have to test the game with STEREO sound, transparencies ON and in 60 Hz to be able to track the bugs.
With everything turned on,it's soooo damn slow, even the first level is a torture to play
Seems like you have been playing it with everything turned off.I can't imagine playing it like that,it's NOT SNES-quality at all

we must still remember that bugs are noticeable errors, or stuff that doesnt allow to play a game beyond that point, so let say that yoshi's island is playable except that because a bug u cant see the ending.
im playing the games that have a decent speed right now, so ill keep those too slow for the new versions of dreamsnes

Just play Earth Defense Force (E) with transparency OFF,MONO sound,50Hz refresh rate,CPU optimizations ON,Autosave OFF and NO speedometer.
You'll see how speedy it is...it's friggin' fast
Or try Metal Warriors (U) at 60Hz with MONO sound...its soo fast'n'smooth
Or even try Super Ninja Boy (U)...it moves very smoothly
FYI,Super Metroid moves much faster than on PS2's SNES Station...hehehe
(On Dreamcast it's much more playable)

if you registered just to post that you must really be bored. if so take some time and read the rules to know what you shouldnt ask. When are you guys gonna stop the Bull$hit and start mak'in this emulator work like a real man would. also if you have a bit of sense you should understand that noone owes you anything, you should already be happy that someone did this emulator, which is close to fullspeed with sound, for free...
anyway if youre not satisfied why dont you make yours?
if you dont have anything more intelligent to post i suggest you not to waste your time.

DreamSNES scans the ROM headers, thats why the names appear in Japanese,as the Japanese producers put the header in their native language.
If you use a tool and change the header, you can have english names instead of Japanese kana for the ROM.
Even better,if you use a roms.lst file, you'll have all of your filenames displayed in English.
So,USE A ROMS.LST!

Any problems with DreamSNES running period?
Has anyone had a problem where DreamSNES loads once, then everytime afterwards, pike receives an error message?
The beginning's always the best place to start.
