How really safe is it to use CD-R's for the DreamCast?

Ok, but here's my main question: What difference does it really make at this point? You can buy a Dreamcast now for $29.99. If mine were to break, I think even I, with my 3 kids and blue collar job, could afford to buy another.

its $30 you didn't have to spend...besides dreamcasts won' t be getting easier to get ;)
