We're still getting commercial games, just none from SEGA. The last big one was Ikagaru, an unusual Japanese shooter that is now coming to the Gamecube.

Yes, this is a fairly pointless petition. I, like Heliophobe will just be happy if a Shenmue III game makes it onto any system (apart from the PS2 because then I would have to buy ANOTHER console).
People have to accept that the Dreamcast is dead commercially for European & American gamers. Let's just forget about all these petitions and embrace it's homebrew and emulation loveliness which is still alive and well.

I don't know why so many people have to put down another system. I mean, someone likes another, let them, the main point of video games systems is to entertain us. Thats all, and it is the games that make the system, not the system itself.kubyx wrote:I don't care what anyone says, xbox sucks!

Although I would love to see Shenmue 3 on Dreamcast, there is another part of me that would love to see what Shenmue 3 would look like built from the ground up for the Xbox. Utilizing all of the power that the Xbox can muster, it would be quite the game. However, if they built a Dreamcast version than ported it back to Xbox, then everyone would be happy...maybe, but I doubt that would happen. Let us just hope that Shenmue 3 does come out.....as a game and not as a movie.

I have a few words.
I'd just like to say that as long as my DC reads GDROM discs, then Dreamcast is NOT, repeat NOT dead!
The thing that draws me most to Dreamcast is the simple concept that you don't need a 700 MHZ CPU or 64 MB of RAM to run a good game. or a good looking one Even the motto SEGA chose for their system shows this ...
"its thinking"
RAM, CPU... these are only a small bit of the puzzle.
Hell YES Dreamcast can run Shenmue 3! Dreamcast can even run Halo! It's just that Microsoft and other Mega corporations would like us to believe that there is a serious need for Pentium 4s and GeForce FX! And this kind of thinking is what makes poor quality software so abundant.
If it doesn't work right, it must be the CPU.
Each day that passes by is a testament to the fact that the world just wants to waste silicon. If 733 MHZ was "the ultimate" then splinter cell would not be on Gamecube! If 64MB of RAM defined the perfect system, then the matrix has us people! or we wouldn't be playing Shenmue 2 on Dreamcast!!
Well, that's my 50 cents!
