well for starters, you'll need to find a plug that fits in the hole, I don't think is generic so it would hard getting one.
Once you got them, it would be easy
How about just soldering inside the dreamcast and putting a different connector somewhere on the side of the dc? Do that to 2 dreamcasts, run a cable between the two connectors and that should do it... right?

F355 Challenge (I think that's the name) and about 3 others. A more impressive cable is the NeoGeo Link Cable, but again that only works onm a few SNK games .

I've heard good things, and they seem to use a proper ordering system rather than a "you e-mail us, we e-mail you, you send the cheque..." sort of thing that a lot of Hong Kong videogame sites seem to be doing.
