Four, as far as I know. It emulates the SNES Multi-Tap.

I wish they would bring back the option to manually configure the controller setup, because there are lots of games that won't run if it detects a multitap.

And if you have more than two Dreamcast controllers attached, the newer autoconfigure automatically configures them as multitap.

Just gets annoying sometimes when you forget and have to get up to do something like unplugging a controller and resetting the game.

NBA Live 98 was a cool game to play with the multi-tap. i'd say most of the sports games support it.

If you want a RPG, Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) are 2 excelent 3-player RPG games. However there is a bug, and I don't know how to fix it how what causes is, because it also happens on the ZSNES emulators. Sometimes when your friend is over when you are into the game, when you press start (to activate 2nd player), it doesn't register. I will also post this in the bugs forum to both, find out what causes this and how it can be solved.

Seiken Densetsu 3 only supports 2 players.
