I've got the praying part all taken care of.

I have my little shrine of Perh, MC, and the rest of the gang... I worship them nightly in hopes of a good bounty next holiday :)

The DreamSnes team as religious icons... Interesting idea.

nakamichi - Do you have some insider knowledge or something? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Ohh la la, a mystery!!

I sure hope that a new version of Dreamsnes gets released soon. I won't be sad if one isn't though. Yay for the coders, they're awesome.

I must admit, I get mildly anxious with every semi-major holiday that comes up.

I've already got a good SNES emulator. It's called ZSNES. However, neither that nor an Xbox would help me play SNES ROM's on my DC.

Let's go to Europe, find nakamichi, and steal whatever info he has on DreamSnes.

and better sound

Post by jessman »

uh.............YEAH.........RIIIIIIGHT.
The sound is already better than the sega smash pack for dc and just because there's MINOR differences like on megaman X, you have to even mention that?
Now my "rating" might be "fast newbie" but I've been at this sight for a LOOOOOONG time, it's just that I only recently started using the forums.
Now I know what I'm talking about when I say the sound's fine!
Besides, I think we all know that speed is the only REAL issue!
Anyways, it's already the best there is, so stop adding on problems for them to do! I mean, we'll NEVER get a fast frame-rate emu until we are satisfied with everything else! So PLEASE, DON'T ADD ANYMORE PROBLEMS!
DREAMSNES TEAM, I SALUTE YOU! ALL THAT'S LEFT IS FULL SPEED AND IT'LL BE THE GOD OF ALL EMUS! :ninja: :fight:

I think that there's a few sound channels that don't sound quite right... you can't notice it on most games though. But the sound IS the problem with Dreamsnes. Right now I hear the team's working on optimizing the code for it. Don't quote me on that, but I am fairly sure of it. Something along those lines atleast...

The sound is the problem for two reasons. It isn't quite right, and its (apparently) the slowest part of the emulator.
