Iso to bin

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

There is a way to do it, but I can't think of it at the moment.

What are you trying to make a dummy file with?

Maybe you should use isobuster to extract the data of your iso, then you
could add a dummy file, and then make a .bin image.
It's just a proposition....

Just open the ISO in CDMage then goto save as and that will create a .bin and .cue image.

OK, here is a proposition of solution :
Download Dc-CDr and the dummy file program.
Download also Isobuster.
First install dc-cdr in C:\Selfboot.
Then, extract all your files from your ISO thanks to Isobuster and put them
in the c:\Selfboot\DATA.
There is 1stread.bin et IP.bin in this directory.
Cut and paste them to c:\Selfboot.
Then I almost forget. You have to patch these files.
Next, make your dummy file and put it in the DATA directory.
Make your iso and then burn !!!
The doc inCD-Cdr is self explained.
I'm a newbie and I did it, so do you.
Good luck :D
