DC back in production????
I read about a month ago that the DC was back in production. I think this is very unlikely since none of the DC developers including SEGA have announced any upcoming game. What do you think?? Maybe I'm wrong (I wish! Honest.)

That's probably about the R7's. They're not new, they're just a Dreamcast in a special case that they have installed in Pachinko parlors and bars and whatnot around Japan. People expressed interest in buying them, so I guess they're reselling the ones they've recalled.Abomination wrote: I read a news that said that DC is being made in Japan only.
It's a black DC and it's going up for sale on february.

incorrect
The dreamcast will never again be back in production, no matter how well it sells. The reason it sold so well was because the price was less than the price of making the DC. So if SEGA started making DC's again, they would have to higher the price, or else they would just keep losing money (does it make sense to just spend more than ur gonna sell for no reason?) The reason DC's are so cheap is beacsuse SEGA wanted to get rid of them. But to make again........ you get it . And people, stop acting so dissapointed. Most of you wouldn't have gotten a DC if it hadn't died and became cheap. And one last thing, for those bitching about how the newer DC can't play CD-R's, SHUT UP. Sega should have done this from the beginning, playing CD-R's hurt the system badly, burned games. Do you think sega thought, "hmmmmmmm, should we put this protetction in, or should we keep making dC's play cd-r's and lose millions more because some whiny fag wants us too?" I wish there were more games coming for it, but if there were, than the system wouldn't be so cheap because only living systems get good game support.
SEGA, anything else is a toy!
