Secret of Mana for GBA

Post by JuddWack »

Anyone know about this. I cant find out much information yet but I am going to be really mad if it is the US version of SOM. We missed out on SOM2 and the prequal to SOM.

it is the remake of Seiken Densetsu 1 (aka Final Fantasy Adventure) for the gameboy.

incase ppl are confused:

Seiken Densetsu 1 - FF adventure (gameboy)
Seiken Densetsu 2 - Secret of Mana (snes)
Seiken Densetsu 3 - (No US release, but presumably called Secret of Mana 2) (snes) <----this was the prequel
Seiken Densetsu 4 - Legend of Mana (psx)

Yeah, I think that it's the best game of all time. I haven't been able to play it for years cause I can't find the damn cart. I can't buy it off the net, and the only time I saw it here it was much too expensive.

Btw, yes I know I could download it and play it through an emu but that's not fun. I have a Dreamcast and ps2 to keep me busy... if I had some cdr's I'd probably burn that snes emu for ps2 but meh... too lazy to do the mod. I'd rather wait for a faster version of Dreamsnes and make a snes controller for my DC :D

Secret of Mana was great, Legend of Mana was just dumb. I played it to the point I was in some area where you had to line up these flower people to open gates and then through it in my f*ck it pile. I think I let it go with a PS1 I sold on E-bay awhile back.

My bro bought SD1 (FF Adventure) a while back, and I thought it was pretty good.

And I used to think bad of Legend of Mana, mainly because I thought it had little or no story....about a month ago I stumbled upon one of the story arcs (Daena, Irwin, etc.) and couldn't stop playing. The game rules.

yes the game is little more than fetch quests in the beginning. but later on te main story starts to some out.
