FFT on DC

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

PCSXDC is too slow for now. Its a cool emu, and its an Alpha version. Need more work to run games at full speed. Dont expect to run fine on DC :|

Use DC CPU to render all gfx. Will run faster when they add support for DC PowerVR chip. :dc:

He means it's rendering everything in software mode, completely unoptimized. It should be significantly faster if it is optimized to use the Dreamcast hardware to take the brunt of work away from the CPU.

It uses .bin files at the moment, you have to rip your cd to a .bin & burn the .bin onto a disc as it is, hopefully CD support will be added so this step wont be needed anymore.
