Where can I find the cdi file
And where can i find the simpson or quake race in a cdi file ?

Just to repeat/add to/correct whats already been said,
Simpsons mod for Quake has been released as a warez cdi.
Of course it does include the full version pak files (albet edited) and is illegal to distribute. So it is not to be discussed here.
From what I understand it aint that great anyway.
Quake Race? You mean Quake Rally?
As far as I know Quake Rally hasnt been released as a warez cdi.
If it had it would be just like the simpsons mod in its legal aspect and would not be allowed here eather.
If you can find a TRUE 100% total conversion... it would not require any of the original Quake models, sounds, etc. That means that it would be legal to make and distribute a CDI image of it. Problem is most TCs are being built for custom GLquake engines (and wouldnt be QuakeDC compatable)
It is possible to mod the shareware... but that would require bypassing idsoftware's security (the check that you do have the full version)
Of course I wont say how...
