Have you tried M1: multi-platform arcade music emulator?Zero Wing...hmmm...
I don't have that MAME yet burned, neither have a PC to listen to the music in MAME32.
That leaves me only to dust off that $3g4g3n and try that Genesis game with HORRIBLY EMULATED sound
Or to try it in MAMED with CRAPPY,SLOW sound...
Is the music in the Genesis version the same as in the arcade version?
Download it from http://www.emuhype.com/
It will let you play music from a list of games (Zero Wing included) and can log a .WAV file you can listen to or record later.

I had a ton of music from the Genesis version. I can't remember if it is different from the arcade version or not. Anyways, that dissapeared with 2 gigs of anime pictures and the source code to my port. I have no idea what happened to them. They were on my desktop, I restarted, and they were gone. I'll get the tracks again and throw them up on the 1337 Ghetto.reaper2k2 wrote:Im sure the gates of bill has the music or can get it he is a mad fan!

Yes,finally...I MADE THE "REMIX"!
It's not actually a remix,but a total remake,since i used only a small part(about 5%) of the intro music melody,and 95% is my original composition
That makes this theme not only good for ZeroWing, but for any other Toaplan shooter RAD MAME.
The duration is a bit more than 2:30,that means the MP3@44.1k/256kbps Stereo = over 5 MB!
Is 2:30 long enough? The track has been designed with a looping point in mind,so you can loop it after it finishes.
It's very "Gamey" and has Techno-Trance and Piano Funk/Jazz elements mixed in
And it's still...MIDI DC's XG MIDI is really powerful!
Do you like it?
I spent 10 hours composing and perfecting it...

I can hold on, I'm not worried about the file size(s) cos I'm on my ADSL connection but I can understand that some people, including yourself (if you're a dial-up user) will be worried about the file sizes for uploading and downloading.
