I'm sick of this

Ok somebody helped me before but i cant remember how to fix this every time i go to save a pic it comes up as a bmp file and its not its a jpg
this happens to my pc like every 2 weeks.

Please help me

right click the picture - go to properties

Highlight the link address and copy and paste it into a new window and right click - save as.. or

copy paste the url for the picture into a download program

What are you saving the pictures in, Internet Explorer? Internet Explorer lets you save pics as bmp or it's existing format, so if it's on .bmp just set the little box in the Save As box back to the existing format, and it will be set like that next time you save a picture.

You can also save pictures in IE by dragging them from the page to whatever folder you want them in.
