Best video game music?

If I had to pick favorite game music, I would either say Shenmue or Shenmue 2. Both of the games have almost identical music, but some differant musics.

I agree greatly with these three choices.

My single favorite song is Rydia's Theme from Final Fantasy IV. I would like to include Motoi Sakuraba from Star Ocean 2 and Valkerie Profile, and who can forget Koji Kondo's Mario and Zelda songs.

I like that hiphop beat in Sonic 3 when you fight a sub boss!! They took it out in Sonic&Knuckles and put that other annoying music on there.... they should have kept it.I would delay beating the boss just to listen to the beat LOL!!

opening music for Duke Nukem 3D, opening music for Doom 2. Syphon Filter 3 has good music ingame. pumps you up to kill some baddies.
