The new DBZ game... Budokai?

Ive seen screenshots and heard reviews... The graphics look like Tekken 1 on PSX and I heard the gameplay sucks... What's you guys' opinions?

well its not that bad for fans... but like every DBZ game it sucks... they should have had capcom or sega work on it

Yes they should have (2D fighter by Capcom, preferably). If you're a DBZ fan you'll probably like it....I have about three friends who've played it, all three of which love DBZ, and they all love Budokai.

Only DBZ game I've been able to play for more than a half hour is Hyper Dimension on the SNES.

Yeah...it's not too bad...if you like DBZ. The fighting system isn't very deep at all, and ultimately becomes a button masher...even for people who don't usually mash buttons. The episode mode thing is pretty spiffy...where you act out episodes. But as a fighting game...it's really shallow.

Only good DBZ games I played was 2 on SNES and Ultimate Battle 22 on PS1.

This game stinks. Graphics are poo, gameplay...is...well...poo aswell.
The story mode thingy is ok, but the actual fighting is cack.

Go buy something else, this game sUx0rZ.

If it matters, there are only English voice tracks in this game (no Japanese). Reason stated for this was that there wasn't enough room. Oh well. I'm not a DBZ fan anyway.

The PAL version has Japanese voices with English subs

Why they did that I dont know.

i saw commercials for it, well whatever the ps2 one is, i guess its this one, well that game looked liek crap, and i was playing it over a friends and the textures are like super plain, and the backgrounds and stuff are crap. he is a super db* fan and even thinks its a waste of money

This game is total shit.... a friend brang his ps2 to school once with this game... i couldnt stand it it was so borring! Nobody actually knew any moves they just pressed any button and actually won their battles that way... since the class was full of dbz fans they all wanted me to unplug my dreamcast for this stupid game that they all liked.... I MEAN THE GUY ALSO RENTED SOCOM: NAVY SEALS AND THEY WANTED TO PLAY THAT SHI.TTY GAME!

This game is for fans only. If you love watching Dragonball Z, you could easily spend hours playing this game. However, If you only watched a few episodes of Dragonball Z, or you just don't like anything that bears the name of Dragonball, then there is nothing this game has to offer that could keep your interest for more than a half hour. This game has only one mission: To appeal to Dragonball Z fanatics.

It's tolerable. It has some interesting bits, and some bits that are utter poo. Certainly not the worst fighting game I've ever played. Rise of the Robots, anyone?

They actually had one good dbz game for the snes which was legend of the super saiyen or something. It was a pretty good rpg game
