Search Engines on Desktops

Ok, NeonGenesis, posted the codes for the Google, Google images, and the Download.com engines to put on the desktop, but how exactly do I do it? What do I need? Please help.

I want to put the three seach engines on the top-left side of my desktop, or in a line along the top of my desktop.

If I understand it right, it's just an HTML page that they have created themselves. You can set any HTML page to be your desktop background. Do you know anything about HMTL?

simply just save the google website. then select it to be your desktop. that simple.

i take that back, as i didn't know google uses scripts.
