Which DC GAMES allow u to use the GUN??
which dc games let u use the gun to play? SUch as House of the Dead 2 and Confidential Mission.. Please list all that u know including japanese games and maybe a lil description of the game also. Thanks.
.
I have them all but one..
Confidential Mission - James Bond type of spy game, tied for House of the Dead 2 as best Dreamcast shooter.
House of the Dead 2 - Shoot zombies and monsters with guns. Some branching paths. Pretty good stuff...
Death Crimson OX - Mediocre House of the Dead 2 ripoff. Worth a try if you get it cheap (can be had for $10 or less).
Death Crimson 2 - Don't have it, it is supposed to be terrible. Does have a unique feature, you can record a couple second clip with the Dreamcast mic and that will be your "injury" sound. If I could get this one cheap enough I would.
Demolition Racer: No Exit - Yes, this racing game uses the gun. In a bonus game. Ironically, this is the only game to make good use of the D-pad. Unfortunately, there is no calibration option so the shots are always somewhat off. Pretty good for just a small bonus. You shoot cars that come at you.
Believe that is it. I have a feeling I may have missed one though.

I thought Silent Scope 2 only used the controller, because making a big honkin sniper rilfe with a screen in the scope would have been too expensive a peripheral (as Capcom will soon find out with Steel Battalion)Hollywood Hasney wrote:Not bothered trying... No signature.

Virtua Cop 2! I KNEW I was forgetting one. It's available both as a part of the Sega Smash Pack or as a Japanese only standalone. The standalone has nothing extra, is harder to find, and costs more.
I saw a gun on lik-sang.com (I believe it was there) before they got shut down that had a mode to support silent scope. No clue if it really worked or how it worked though. Silent Scope stinks without the Scoped rifle anyway.

http://www.gamestech.com/dreamcast_info ... roller.htm
go look
silent scope can be played with a light gun just not every one works for it
its ace and plays just like the arcade
go look

this gun has silent scope mode
Graphically, the game is as close to arcade perfect as you?re going to get. Everything from the original is in, and it?s clear that the game has really had some effort put into it. The detail, while not stunning, is nevertheless, pretty impressive all the same. The enemies are well detailed, as are the bosses - case-in-point, the Harrier ?jump jet? from the first level. The frame rate is smooth, a rock solid 30 fps, and while the odd jagged edge is visible here and there, on the whole, the game impresses with smooth, slick visuals, especially in the area of the resolution - even the close up, zoom in on enemies is very clear and crisp. One nice aspect is the way the characters move - shifting position quite realistically.
with the gun it's reallly not bad i know no big riffle but still it does work with the gun its how i play it

It probably does - Virtua Cop without a gun would be prety pointless. Like playing PC Gun Games with a mouse - just a bit crappy.SaSSO wrote:No American just the Jap solo release. I hear different reports though- does the Smash Pack Virtua Cop work with a lightgun, or no?

yeah
virtual cop2 works with a light gun i have the jap and the smash pack version
there 100% the same as the sega saturn versions but since the sega saturn version was 100% arcade perfect its a good port
dont let people tell its not they dont know i played this in the arcade and on the saturn /dreamcast its perfect
i seen a review saying the grafix suck well its a old arcade game the dreamcast version does not make it look better then it was its the same
as the real arcade machine
the saturn could do 640 x res and even higher then, the crap 320 on most playstation 1 games
the reviews i read are just plain wrong saying this game is like this or that im afraid the dc and saturn ports are exact on the arcade machine and these people should play it first before dumping on the dreamcast
more light gun games well i think thats it the ones so far
