4 more tests:
Cotton: Boots and runs at about 4 frames/sec
The Incredible Hulk: Loads, but when you try to start a new game, the DC restarts
Battle Arena Toshiden: Runs incredibly slow. Probably 1 frame/sec.
Chocobo Racing: Does not boot, but it didn't in ePSXe either so it might be a bad dump.
Tests were done using both HLE and SCPH and had the same results.
To be tested:
-Namco Anthology 1

3 more:
Namco Anthology-
SCPH: Booted and ran fine at about 2 frames/sec
HLE: Froze at the screen after the title screen
Bu Gi (?)-
SCPH and HLE: Ran at about 1-2 frames/sec. Character select screen was full screen. Minor texture glitches.
Gouket (that one game)-
SCPH: Did not boot
HLE: Froze after intro
Terror, I think you missed my post where I retested Crazy Climber, Pepsiman, Buster Bros and Pocket Fighter with SCPH.

I'll test my 148 PSX games starting with 4 selected small games.
My setup is as so, i'm making BIN files out of my games, testing through the serial cable (it's fast enough I believe), also grabing data from dc-tool (well the debug info I suppose, it'll be useful if anything crashes or what not). O yeah of course you have to make an ISO file first out of the BIN files. I tried putting the BIOS files on the ISO file, and then tried loading off the emulator, but it freezes up the emulator if you try doing that.
I don't know if the way i'm testing is a wise way to test, so I'll try one of the games on the compatibilty list that are listed to work.
I'll have results later. Here's my list.

Well I'll need confirmation anyways, as I'm not completely sure if this serial cable thing is causing games not to boot or what. Well I got RPG Maker to boot up, it shows the ASCII logo, then fades out slowly, then shows some weird shape on screen, starts to fade colors.
This isn't my official words yet on it, i'll confirm it with burning at least one disc.
At first I had bios files in root of the ISO that i'm redirecting with dc-tool, it would freeze up if you tried leaving configuration. I then read the readme for pcsx and it said to put one in bios folder. I did, and i've had no problems since then. However I haven't wasted any discs yet on this, which is good, well i would of wasted it with the last 2 times i made ISO's, but this 3rd time i don't think it be a waste.
I'm going to try some games that were already tested and see if they even decide to load up, if they don't, i'll blame my slow poke serial cable or something.

Mortal Kombat 2- it ran at maybe 5-6fps and controller 1 controlled both players (does this happen in all games?) There is a vid of MK2 running in PcSXdc here [join the group to bypass the DL limit] There's also a few THPS vids at the DreamcastEmulation yahoo group (webmasters feel free to host the vids).
RPG maker freezes shortly after the ascii logo.
Final Fantasy 6- ~5fps, freezes when you get into the first fight.
Beyond the Beyond- ~6-7fps Still testing it right now (hasn't crashed yet) I haven't done anything but name myself and read a bunch of stuff so far... (its a RPG)
BTW- Everything was tested with the HLE bios.

6 more tests!
Soul Edge:
HLE- Dreamcast resets on screen before the mode select
SCPH- Game plays normally, 2-3 frames/sec
Dead or Alive:
HLE- Freezes at screen that says 'Memory Card not found'
SCPH- Freezes at same screen, but instead it says 'Memory Card is not formatted'. Interesting.
Dynasty Warriors:
HLE and SCPH- Plays normally at about 2-3 frames/sec
Legend:
HLE and SCPH- Dreamcast resets instantly
Gundam Battle Assault:
HLE and SCPH- Dreamcast resets instantly
Kagero: Deception 2:
HLE and SCPH- Game runs normally at about 1-2 frames/sec
I'm out of CD-R's, so no more testing for a day or so.
To be tested-
MTV Music Generator
Vib Ribbon
I want to see if CD swapping is a possibility yet.

For CD Swapping, a solution has to be made I believe for loading the discs. That's why we haven't seen it yet. It be much easier though if we had cd swapping, but all takes time, so we must pay . Just keep up the good work with testing, I'm still figuring things out using serial cable instead of CDs.
Just found out all file names must be 8.3 or else the file(s) won't work. Now my beyond the beyond works.
Also hopefully sometime tomorow Terrorshocked's webpage will be updated with a new layout he has, just a few quirks need to be worked out on it.

3 games
here are 3 games i tried out using PCSX for the dreamcast:
Resident Evil2(Disc 1):this may be playable for the patient gamer,it would work if there was a pad configuration option.(i know this is already on the DC,but its still a game to test)
Quake II:This froze after game was begining,i mean after the start menu, and you start actually start playing.
Fifa 96-Unplayable- when it loads,i think that there is a movie sequence, and pressing the buttons did not have any affect on it.And no you do not have to wait for the movie to end to play the game on Playstation.
I'm going to try more games soon,i want to help, and i suggest others do what they can, cause this may be the greatest thing to happen to the dreamcast,i mean there are LOTS of games for playstation, and to be able to play them would expand dreamcasts libary in a way.Having a NES and Snes, game gear, game boy, sega master system, and so on are also great too,but this project excites me more than anything on the DC emulation scene.
