DC Media player doesn't work
It doesn't play MPG's or AVI's even thoguh there are files for it in the source code. Did I burn it wrong?

I believe you would be referring to the thenesis DC Media Player? Project was aborted, its developer left to pursue a 3d engine. Don't think its been updated since .02. Stick to dc divx or gypplay.
Need a Treamcast, Dreamcast modchip, HUGE DC memory card, ASCII-like DC fighter pad, or Saturn Gameshark with tons of backup memory? PM me.

Re: DCDIVX
Dc-DivX plays DivX if they are encoded properly. There is a encoding guide in my sig..Wetflame wrote:Does it play Mpgs too? Will there ever anything like a proper media player?
If you want to play Mpeg-1 files then use GypPLay it will play just about any mpeg you get off the net without.
The DC media player only works with OpenDivX and doesn't have sound support. It doesn't play MPG's or AVI's..
