Dream studio saves

anyone know where i can get some of the JP game saves for dream studio. I know it had a site, but i think it has gone down now. I recently got the game so I wanna check out what some people have made. anyone know where i can get em?

Yeah, it really really *REALLY* sucks that the Dreamstudio page got taken down, there was so much more that I wanted to try out from there. It's a huge loss.

Anyway, I have about 200 games backed up on my HD. I can toss them into a ZIP and upload them to my webspace for you, but not right now since I've reached my space limit. There's a large file that's on there so that a friend can download it, so after she gets it, I'll take it down and put up these Dreamstudio games that I have.

One thing you'll find is that a lot of the things people made with Dreamstudio weren't actually games, there was a lot of cinemas and music videos and stuff (they can often still be cool to watch anyway, of course); only about 1 in 10 are actual games.

Okay, here it is:

(The file is uploading right now, so if you happen to see this post right away, you'll have to wait a minute or two before getting it).

The files are in VMS format, so if you need them in DCI, you'll have to convert them yourself (there's a program out there called DCI_VMI.EXE that does it). Also, you'll have to check your existing Dreamstudio saves on our VMU to get the proper filename for them since they're just named 0001.VMS, 0002.VMS, etc. currently.

Good luck. I haven't even tried all of these myself yet, I downloaded them in the hopes of backing up the entire archive of games from the Dreamstudio site, but it was sort of a tedious process downloading them, so I gave up after the first 200 or so and planned to come back to it and get a couple hundred more at a time, but I kept forgetting to do it and then the site went down. Sucks.

thanx for the files. im just wandering around the net searching for this program. all i can find is a DCI>VMS. can you help me with a link.

Sorry, I probably should have put it in the ZIP with all the Dreamstudio files, but here it is on this page:

The one you want is DCI_VMI.COM, it'll allow you to make either DCI or VMI files based on a VMS. You'll need to know the name of the file the game will be looking for on the VMU, though, so just check and see what your existing Dreamstudio saves are called (I think it's like D_STUDIO01 or something like that though the "01" can be any number).

is a nice thing, i now i can make the hero speach, enter in new location, pick up itens, but dont know how to make a fight, want to see some exemples...

Hey everyone, I know this is a long dead thread and most of the people that had the files haven’t been online in years but does anyone have any dream studio saves. I know there’s 5 on speuds vmu tool disc but sweater fish mentioned he had over 200 archived at one point, I know it’s not reasonable to think all these still exist but I was hoping some more would exist to try out
