Shenmue on DC emulator
..is unplayable as it claims to need 80 blocks of memory that I apparently don't have and so it won't create a system save which means I wouldn't be able to switch discs later. If anyone knows a fix or workaround, please share.

Re: Shenmue on DC emulator
I don't know what emulator you are trying to use but I would highly recommend 'redream". Now it is a paid emulator but it is well worth it. I paid I think $5 for it back in 2020. It is now $8 but I highly recommend it. One feature is that you are able to easily monitor all VMUs. You can have 8 VMUs inserted at once if you set it to insert 2 VMUS in each of the 4 controllers. So you should have no problem saving your Shenmue progress.
I am the type of person who would usually say to never pay for an emulator, but "redream" is the best DC emulator for PC currently and for only $8 for a lifetime registration is well worth it. If you need any help setting it up just let me know and I'd be happy to help you through it.
