I use to play dreacast as a kid. So thrilled to use my serial and acess. There's no way to register on profile account I looked.

And the server is able to see my serial/access regardless if I register or not

I suspect that you're missing some old DirectX/DirectMovie DLLs or something to that effect. I know that there were problems the last time I ran PSO on Wine that revolved around that.

You could also use an alternate loader rather than the normal autorun.exe to bypass the movie -- look on PSO Palace for deathrabbit's loader. Download it, put the loader in the same directory as you have PSO installed in (it should sit in the same directory as pso.exe and autorun.exe), then run it instead of autorun.exe to start the game.

Guild cards are specific to one version. You cannot share the same guild card number on Sylverant on DC and PC.

Got a weird issue... I think.

I'm playing version 1 on dreamcast using a raspberry pi with dreampi to connect to the server.

I can't seem to see listed teams at the counter in the lobby. The server tells me there are people logged in to the block on teams but I can't see them. Am I not in the right lobby?

I can see people in the lobby and they can join my team and send me messages. Last night I was playing and suddenly I could see and join a team but now I can't see any listed teams.

Version 1 can only play in version 1 teams. Anyone on DC or PC can create version 1 teams, but most players probably play with version 2 and create version 2 teams instead (as there are more quests available in version 2 teams than in version 1 ones).

You also wouldn't be able to see any teams created by Gamecube or Xbox players (but neither would anyone on version 2).

Per the rules on the website for the event (and all the other events), you need to be playing with a guild card that is associated with a registered (legitimate) serial number/access key on the Sylverant website and you need to have enabled the /trackkill command on your guild card. If you want to participate in the next event, make sure that your serial/access key is registered on your account on the Sylverant website, use the /login or /tlogin commands in game (see the website command list for more info), then do a /trackkill in game.

The event is now over, so nobody is getting any more candies now.

Hello everyone, I bought myself a Dreamcast with a GDemu, and ordered an broadband adapter. As far as I understand, the patcher does not work on the GDemu, and I downloaded the codebreaker, but I have never used it, and there is no game in its menu. Please tell a noob how to run the game through a codebreaker?
Or can I just play the Pal version through the GDemu without using the patch and codebreaker?

Japanese model has more va0, which is incompatible, good luck if its va1.

There's a modified boot disc that works on GDEMU:

You can also use a PAL GDI or an auto-connect CDI to avoid having to change discs every time you play.

Faced another problem. I bought license to get a serial number and an access key, but I don't know how to activate them in the game This dreamcast used to play a pirated copy of the game with a pirated serial number and access key. How can I make the console forget the old data and let me enter new license data?
