How do you Save with Zelda?

Anything DreamSNES-related can be asked in this forum, such as general questions about the emulator, how to burn it, etc.

How do you Save with Zelda?

Post by DCemuN00B »

There is no "SELECT" button on the Dreamcast controller, therefore I can't save with Zelda. Does it automatically save every 5 minutes or something for me? I think I read something about that somewhere, but wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Heh, the Select button is sorta hidden...pushing the analog stick up acts like select. You should be able to save then ^_^

...or of course you could just get Link to commit suicide. Then you will be offered the chance to save.

Yea, thanks, my brother just figured that out. It seems though, like none of my saves actually save. I turn the system off, then back on, and the saves from ANY game (Mario,Zelda,Chrono Trigger) are all gone. Any ideas? I have my VMU in, and it has PLENTY of room on it.

Your not wating for the beep. See once you save doesnt mean it saves. After you save you have to wait about 15 seconds and then you hear a beep!! and then its saved.
DNR the current kickass dc programer. Thanks
for the emulator I've been waiting 2 years for.

Thanks to Reaper2k2 also for showing interest into WSC emulation.

Ok. Does the beep go on the whole time you are playing the game? I notice that it does for the first few min, but guess I zone out after a few min.

Ok, so save, wait a few min for beep, then done? thanks.
