The central idea is flawed because the gang of monkeys already made chumps of the human race numerous times:
1.) By escaping the zoo and engaging in time-transcendent shenanigans, they've made their message as clear as it can be.
2.) If they are engaging in anarchy, why do they bend knee to a common leader in Specter? With a strong monarchy and a desire for rapid colonization, the power structure of the monkeys bears a striking similarity to the British Empire at it's apex.
3.) The zoo had plenty of bananas. It's like going to the coffee shop when you have a fresh-brewed pot on your counter.
