What game gave you the best feeling of accomplishment?
I was wondering what game(s) has everyone beaten that really took a lot of effort and provided a great feeling of accomplishment. By accomplishment I don't mean putting in 1000 hours but rather that feel of minor euphoria of true enjoyment, the reward of final victory, and savoring the entire journey. As for me, these experiences belong to:
King's Quest 1
Ninja Gaiden
Shenmue
Final Fantasy 7
and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue

I would have to say the first time I beat Super Mario Brothers at the arcade it felt really good. Also when I beat Metal Gear for PSX, that one just because there was someone at work that said I wouldn't be able to finish it without the strategy guide, and I just wanted to prove him wrong (took me 2 days). It felt goot to beat FFVII. It also felt good to beat Rygar, even though I can't remember the ending. And I was the first person I knew to beat Metroid, and that made me feel good.
The only limitations we have, are the ones we set for ourselves...

Any Arcade tournament or match where people are present...
A win in front of a crowd who "oohs and aahs" at your every move is just phenomenal. I can see why performers and atheletes feel energized Hulkamania-style when the crowd is on their side rooting for them.
All you local arcade heroes should know where I'm comin' from on this one... Them days owned...

Mine would have to be Perfect Dark.
I completed it in every difficulty (including perfect), completed every challenge on multiplayer and got every single cheat.
When I get my Gamecube on wednesday, Im gonna try and complete Super Monkey Ball. Because according to a lot of people. Master Level 3 is the the hardest and most evil videogame challenge they have ever experienced.

FF3 and Chrono trigger
MSR will if I ever finish the bloody thing.
Finishing Skies of Arcadia with all my crew
Megaman on the NES
The monkey Island games (1 & 2 not really the others) on Amiga
Grim Fandango on PC
Halo
and finally ICO
There are probably a lot more but I can't think of them at the moment.
