Sonic 06 or sonic boom? Haven't only played a demo of sonic boom on the wii u I'd say the latter.

Sonic Boom. Sonic 06 wouldn't be complete trash if it had decent load times.

Easily Sonic Boom.

Sonic 06 does so many things wrong, but beneath all that it's at least trying to be a Sonic game.

Sonic boom was more like a sonic the hedge hog beat em up along the lines of streets of rage. Best sonic game imo is sonic 2 for genesis.

They've all been pretty crappy after Sonic 3 IMO, In fact since SEGA added the spin dash to the 3D Classics version of Sonic 1, you don't really need to play Sonic 2 anymore.

Sonic 1/2/3+K/CD/Blue Sphere

Sonic games that are worth a shot:
Sonic Adventure 1 (DC) + 2, Generations, Colors, Sonic 1 8-bit, Sonic Triple Trouble, 3D Blast (MD), Advance Series, Rush, Sonic the Fighters (yeah), Sonic Spinball

Not sure about Lost World or Rivals, but pretty much everything else would not be missed.

Knuckles Chaotix is worth a nod as well. It's like the last-chance foot-in-the-door B-side to the classic Sonic games.

Actually the handheld versions are pretty good, probably because they're all in 2D.
