Dreamcast Prototypes- What's your favorite?
Which one do you all like best- this article is very interesting. I think number 2 is the best, but maybe it would have stirred up bad memories for Saturn lamentors. Here's the link:

i think the bottom one was WAY cool
it'd be great to have ur 4 controllers in ports 1-4 and the ur keyboard and mouse in ports 5&6 dont ya think?!?! - they shoulda done that
the second was good - mmmmmm black ......
but what was goin on with the first one?! that woulda been one crazy console - i think it woulda freaked me out a little bit - too arachnoid for my liking!!!!
cool though, too see all the early designs - can anyone else find any more?!

well the third one looks like the dreamcast but more compact, the second one is the same but black, but the first one is really original, would be a bitch to move around and set up in tight areas though, I think the one we have is the best, infact, its gotta be the best looking console there is, doesn't look rigid, not oversized and easy to set up.....
Crack a window will ya!

Number to was my favorite. They could have used it for the USA design as they normally change the design of the US systems.
Tis sweet.

Nintendo is a company. Do you mean NES?

Everyone refers to the original console of a company as the companies name, well I did, we always called the PSX the Sony, Nintendo Entertainment System as Nes, Master System as Sega and so on... Though Ido not think I have ever called the Xbox the Microsoft, well theres always a firt.
'Halo is on the Microsoft'
All better.

No, on the inside there is nothing different, the controller ports dont even work. I think it was a homebrew system with the extra ports just for show, not a prototype.Gmc wrote: I'd like to see inside this system, to see if its actually hooked up to the DC's main board, because homebrew stuff could possibly use those 2 extra ports
