Re: Weekly Dreamcast Live PSO
Okkkkkk, so I've finally managed to get a Dreamcast (eBay), now I just need to find a VMU and burn the patcher.. :D
Any tips for burning the patcher disc on Windows 7 btw? (program, burn speed, settings)
Will maybe be able to join this Sat, if not hopefully next if I have to get a VMU off eBay.

If you're using the CDI file, DiscJuggler is the best option.

O/T. Did you used to play on the Sega DC servers? Your name is familiar.

Just to clarify, you can't play this game at all without a vmu. Not sure if you knew this, but your post read to me like you wer going to try and connect prior to getting a vmu. And, that will not work. A vmu is needed to play offline or online.

And thanks for the info, but I've owned a DC since I was a kid lol. I lost my old DC when I moved outta home somehow (it had an official Sega crystal yellow case too :/).
Only prob I have with this new DC is the RF lead is f**ked, ghosting and really bad picture. Is a VGA adaptor worth gettin? I always used a SCART with my DC, but I have a HDTV (a crap one tho lol) now so.

Re: Weekly Dreamcast Live PSO
The VGA Box makes PSO look quite nice. Definitely a sound investment if you've got an HDTV with VGA input.
Oh, and welcome to Sylverant.
