That's odd. I always wondered how you had the money to buy so many games and the time to play them - you seemed like a gaming machine to me. Have things changed?melancholy wrote:I just finished up Layton tonight, but I'm not going to have the money for Mario for a while and I haven't even touched the London Life part of Layton, so I might try that. Either that, or I might just play an older game for a while, because I have to have some handheld game to play before bed every night.
As for console, I'm only about 14 hours into Zelda, so I imagine that game will last me well into the new year. Honestly, at this point I might not even get around to playing Skyrim.
We put our son in daycare about 5 months ago. Daycare costs more than our mortgage payment alone. So yeah, we went from having extra money every month to living off our paychecks. It's definitely good for the kid and me and my wife see each other a ton more now, but the cost has downgraded our lifestyle somewhat.Specially Cork wrote:That's odd. Sonic Advance 2 sucked, but the third game is probably the best mix for the GBA series. The two character mix is awesome, especially if you have a friend to play with via link cable. The special stages in 3 are a bitch to get, but the whole game is just surperb for a handheld.I've also just finished Sonic Advance for the GBA, and started playing Sonic Advance 2, which tries too hard to be like Sonic Adventure 2 and so far seems to be crap in comparison to the first one.
Really? I liked 1, I liked 2 (although there are a couple levels that suffer from Sudden Pit Syndrome, though not as badly as the Sonic Rush games), and I felt 3 was just a clunky attempt at recreating Knuckles Chaotix. I guess my biggest problem with it is that the level design was weird--it was just a huge sprawl of loops and gimmicks that didn't even try to make any sense; it never felt like you were actually "going" anywhere, just wandering around an endless, pointless maze. I did like Sonic Advance 2, though, when it wasn't throwing you off cliffsNico0020 wrote:Sonic Advance 2 sucked, but the third game is probably the best mix for the GBA series. For 360? If so, the Undead Nightmare Collection (Undead Nightmare plus all multiplayer map packs) is on sale today only for 800 points. Undead Nightmare by itself is on sale for 400.DaMadFiddler wrote:Red Dead Redemption
