SEGA have set Feburary 2011 as the date for their ‘Dreamcast Collection’ retail disc.
Basically its a compilation of their digital titles they have already announced. Here is something new though, it is also coming to PC, no Playstation 3 version! The press release does not say if Sonic Adventure version will come with the DX downloadable content on disc, my guess is probably not.
I'll bet they do something like they did with the Sega Smash Pack volumes. Dreamcast pack 1,23, etc.
Great news knowing this is coming to PC! Higher resolution and AA FTW! I would love to also have Shenmue 1 and 2 released on PC with higher resolution in a future pack maybe.
When they release jet set radio, chuchu, virtua tennis or some big titles i will buy it.
I'm not buying this half baked cheap ports, besides 50 % of those are available todownload on xbox live...
and the other 50 percent will be available very soon on the marketplace. Damn shame they didn't put anything we dont already have. Is that the final boxart? I'll pick it up for 20 bucks or less.
Yes, the general consensus is this is another quick buck.
No fan service whatsoever, fans on other boards are like at the very least you could've thrown Chu Chu Rocket HD into the mix. I am personally surprised why that didn't make it.
When I think "Dreamcast" I think games that are on every other fuckin console out there. And yes, fishing without the rod, because you just can't warez hardware.
Though we still lament the all-too-early demise of the late, great Sega Dreamcast, its maker lets us know from time to time that our unending loyalty does not go unrequited. Case in point: the pre-order bonus item for Dreamcast Collection in Australia. It's a silver record (an ancient audio storage media made of vinyl) containing songs from Sonic Adventure, Space Channel 5: Part 2 and Crazy Taxi in a sleeve that looks like a Dreamcast.
Yeah but the Crazy Taxi songs aren't off spring, lol.
I'm just kidding I actually wanted to hear more of the new CT sound track, unfortunately I don't live in Australia and already own all the games in the compilation so this one is kinda useless for me.
