What an embarrassment for England and English football in general. There's no doubt the disallowed goal will be the talking point, but the team performance was abysmal for most of the match (these guys get more money in one week than any of us will earn in a year). Germany deserved the win, but I'm still not sure how they'll fare against a decent team.

Hopefully Argentina v Mexico will be a little more like a World Cup match.

It just makes me laugh how much expectation there was this time round because we supposedly had such a great team. Then you see this outdated 4-4-2 formation collapsing everywhere on the pitch and wonder how we qualified in the first place.

At least we've got plenty of young potential talent to replace our aging squad at the next World Cup right?...right?

Why would you want it to be a shitty match?

Seriously though, as a somewhat neutral viewer, I felt Germany-England was the best match on this WC so far. Even if that was due to faulty defenses.

Lampard's goal could have turn it all around; a 2-2 in half time would have lead to better planning. England wasn't playing smart, but they were attacking with some criteria and kept at it until Germany's counter-attack/third goal. After that, the approaches were just pushing forward, letting spaces for more counter goals.

Mexico started playing good the first 23 minutes ..but after the first Argentina goal it was a train wreck.....and like every f@cking 4 years Mexico lost it head started playing shitty and heres the result of 3-1.....
and Yes FIFA Need to change and implement camera replays for tricky situations like Argentina first goal or England disallowed goal........

Sepp Blatter is an ass. His general opinion of football is at odds with most other people. I hope in the future FIFA become a little more progressive and stop trying to promote the idea that sports are better off with officiating errors and cheating because it's more "pure".

I don't care for soccer but I gotta admit that the last few seconds of that Ghana vs Uruguay game were pretty intense.

the only man that doesn't knew how Abreu was going to kick the penalty was the Ghana goalkeeper.

man, you guys pull out all the tricks. Changing game times to make Australia miss flights and now a handball on the goal line. The guy should have been banned for life for that.

It's a valid resource, the penalization is a red card and a penalty kick. I remember a Kempes hand in 1978 World Cup:

In that time it was not a Red Card penalization.

Mother fuckin paul the octopus

Uruguay played their best football on the two last/lost games. And Germany was even worse, because the goals were defensive errors. Oh well.
