This may just be one of those tavbloid newspaper speculative rumours but I heard Thomas spent 6 months pimping his own ass out to drunken sailors in Hong Kong in order to save up enough money to start his own drugs business in South Africa, which he built up steadily over 5 years before losing it in a brutal gangwar - which he only survived by using his own parents as a human shield as he fled the country. He then engineered the downfall of the rirval gang through a series of cryptic anonymous tips he fed the FBI from Nigeria. A series of clever loopholes later, Thomas found himself sitting on millions of dollars, which he used to finance 2 private seasons of Bananaman in HD.
