Problem with nullDC 1.6

Post by Okami84 »

hi!
I've got a problem with nullDC. I've tested two games on it, soul calibur and mvc 2. At first they ran much too fast. After some research on the internet I found out that nulldc has no framelimiter and therefore I have to activate the sync option in the aica plugin. After doing that the games ran too slow. My fps are between 40 and 50. Is there an option to fix this?
Maybe my laptop is too slow for this, but i don't think so.
My specs:
c2d 2ghz
3 gb ram
9600m GT

I'm grateful for any solution.

I have worse hardware (C2D 1.6, 2.5 GB Ram, 8600m GT) and I run Null DC just fine. There must be a setting somewhere that you are missing. Which plugins are you using? Since we are both on laptops, I have mine set to performance and plugged in when using NullDC (or any other graphic type app/game) as nVidia will kill your performance on battery.

Thx for reply!
Hmm I don't think the settings of my laptop are the reason. I can run Street Fighter IV and equivalent games just fine.
Please tell which plugins you use.

Well off the top of my head, the possible plugin combos with working video & sound would be:

1.) Null Video; Null Audio
2.) Chankast Video; Chankast Audio
3.) Null Video; Chankast Audio
4.) Chankast Video; Null Audio

You'll have to restart the emulator when you change any plugins.
