Help Image editing
I am currently using a very primitive computer with basically just windows xp installed nothing more.
It is a very small favor
Just Change the background to white and double the size.
Had I had photoshop I would've done ths myself.
Thank You

Re: Help Image editing
Save time and money by simply telling everybody who sees the image to imagine it with a white background and twice the size.

Damn it Hasney quick fucking around!Hasney wrote:Done.
I also noticed one other improvement I should make, don't worry, your boy Hasney "has" (GETTIT?!?!?) you covered.
I need this picture for my University Page on Facebook, I would've done it myself but as mentioned, the Laptop I am using right now is a primitive piece of shit.
This is barely a minutes job, could somebody please help me out without adding anything stupid onto the picture.
And I don't get it.
It isn't really taking time and money, it will take a minuite max.BoneyCork wrote:Save time and money by simply telling everybody who sees the image to imagine it with a white background and twice the size.
But will make the end result much more presentable, on monday I can just do it from my uni if no one helps me out.

Re: Help Image editing
The circular marquee is as quick, and will give a much more precise shape since the color selection tool's tolerance level is missing the subtle grays from the antialiasing / original compression.Chilly Willy wrote:Seriously, get GIMP. I did this in ten seconds.

Re: Help Image editing
I could have done a circular selection, but I think it's SUPPOSED to be rough around the edges as this is a badge. It's not supposed to have a clean edge. My point was that he could get a decent free image editing program and then mess around with it until it's like he wants.Dreamcast â„¢ wrote:The circular marquee is as quick, and will give a much more precise shape since the color selection tool's tolerance level is missing the subtle grays from the antialiasing / original compression.Chilly Willy wrote:Seriously, get GIMP. No, it's an emblem, but I do see what you're saying. Actually, if he did want rough edges, Microsoft Paint can scale images and the paint brush could be used to paint over the background.

Previously I used ACDSee's (discontined?) Foto Canvas 4.0.
I used the term photo shop because it is synonymous with picture editing.

Re: Help Image editing
As I type this reply GIMP is being downloaded however if you compare what Chilly Willy did and what Dreamcast TM did you can see a noticeable difference in quality, while I will definetly check out GIMP I wanted to know what software you (Dreamcast TM) used?

Re: Help Image editing
It is likely connected to the methods used to upscale its size and post processing rather than the actual program providing these methods.
- One question remains: Why did you post this in Jeeba Land, and not in Arts, Screenshots, Covers: viewforum.php?f=37 ?
